COVID -19

In the past 12 months we have become "Best Practice Accredited" by the Australian Dental Association (ADA). This places us at the forefront of infection control, amongst other things. Thankfully we are well prepared for the pandemic. However, we also need your help to ensure that we can continue to provide dental treatment to all our patients in the challenging months ahead. Our team has completed the Department of Health's Infection Control Training for COVID-19.

Current Action Plan - Level 1 as of May 11th 2020

The dental profession is currently operating at mandated LEVEL 1 Restrictions. This means we can see considerably more patients than the recent Level 2 &  3 restrictions.

Now we are at Level 1 we have a significant back log of treatments to catch up on. We are in the process of expanding our opening hours and number of clinicians in the coming weeks to help see you as soon as possible.

It is essential that if you have any symptoms (fever, cough, breathlessness, etc.) that you inform us. Or if you have had contact with anyone who does.

Who we can see:

We can see you if you do NOT have COVID-19 or the symptoms of COVID-19 and there is no epidemiological data of it in our region.

What treatments are available?

At level 1, all treatments are available.

What precautions are in place to treat you safely and manage our team safely?

Before entering practice:

  • Screening / Triage via phone

  • Our front door is locked to allow us to control who enters the building. Better halves and 'hangers-on' are asked to wait elsewhere. Obviously parents of children, carers etc are allowed to accompany the patient.

While at practice:

  • Pre procedural mouthwashes

  • ADA recommended PPE

  • Card payments preferred

  • If you have a mask, please wear it. Even if it is your sock-come-mask
